Crockery food jar with a cobalt apple design on the front. No cracks. Inside rim has a couple of old chips . Can be seen in 2 nd picture. No way does it detract from this delightful utilitarian piece of early American kitchen ware..❤️
Early Gentleman portrait I believe ink and watercolor.Nice color and detail..Original frame has been repaired at some time..His pocket watch and ring are painted in gold...
Aqua "Open pontil" unbrella ink.. ca. 1870. 2nd picture shows the pontil mark on the bottom.!" It was blown into a mold then broken off the firing rod, the scar thats left is called a pontil mark.
Miniature cheese basket.. from Pennsylvania. 3 3/4 " w x 2" h... Not sure of its use. Maybe a sample basket. Very fine workmanship.. been in my collection for 20 years. ❤️

Document box in orig. paint and tole work. Brass handle. Inside is lined in old wallpaper. Orig, hinges. No lock assembly. A few repairs over the years but done many many years ago. Repaired with a copper square nail! paint chip on top in rear corner. Beautiful painting..nice color ..bought in Ohio...10 1/2w x 3 1/2 h..
This looks like its straight out of a log cabin.. Early made and painted in a grain painted style decor, Dk. brown over red..it's handle measures 14" to the base. Making it perfect to hang in a window or from a beam...17" high 8" wide...hung in our window for many years...
Miniature basket wooden handles 5"x 4".. Providence claims it is 200 years old . Considering its age it is In good condition . It has minor damage to the bottom of the handle thats woven into the side of the basket. It is not noticeable and does not affect the stability of the handle. Cast iron gypsy kettle, circa 1830. Originally used by travellers to hang over open camp fires. Made of solid cast iron, has aluminum lid, handle is in tact and attached. Hand forged. This beautiful cast iron piece has 3 miniature legs to stand on. Measures 6" high.
