New Look, New Features!
DigAntiques.com comes out of hibernation
Over the past year, we've been working on the "next generation" Dig Antiques website. We have made the new website clean, crisp, modern, and more graphical. In addition to the new, responsive style, you'll see the following:
- Image Search - a picture is worth a thousand words. Search for country, folk art and Americana antiques and view the image results.
- Upgraded Shops - the Shops at Dig Antiques can now have multiple pictures, more than one picture per item and tags to name some of the new features. It makes it easier to shop and find antiques. It's easier than ever to have a Shop and sell on Dig Antiques.
- Newest Shop Items - the four newest item listed across all the Shops now appear on the home page. So it's easy to see the latest antiques for sale in the Shops.
- Learn - has articles to help you learn more about country, folk art and Americana.
We are excited with the new and improved Dig Antiques. We invite you to check it out and let us know what you think!
"You have done an outstanding job on this," said Henry Goben, HK Antiques. "I love the site! And I am really sailing and having fun with it. It's hard to quit, kinda like eating potato chips!" Henry recently opened a Shop on Dig Antiques and provided this unsolicited feedback.
We look forward to hearing your feedback too!
Sincerely,
Tom & Sheila Baker

Technical Wizard!
Written by Guest Columnist: Lyn Andeen
Well, to call myself a technical wizard would be a slight exaggeration. No wait! It would be a lie! I don't even text. I am stuck in a time warp probably around 1980. I don't think I am alone.
So to navigate and update the new Dig Antiques website for Shop dealers, I thought it would have to fall to the hands of my savvy husband. Much to his delight and mine, the new website is so easy that I was able to take and load my own pictures and add descriptions all by myself. If it was this easy for me, it should mean more frequent updates from all the dealers and probably some new dealers opening their own Shop. If you were considering joining Dig Antiques as a seller, this is the time to do it! You just login to your page, hit add an item, fill out the different headings (title, description, etc) and add a photo. If you are using a device that takes photos, such as an iPad or other tablet, you can take the photo and add the item all from one device.
It's that easy!
Whether you or buying or selling on Dig Antiques, I think you will definitely enjoy this new format.
