The lady stands beside her fireplace in her bonnet and shawl with a book in hand. It measures approximately 9" x 7"; With Frame - 11 1/4" x 9". The discoloration at the bottom of her dress is a reflection. It does not appear in the painting. There is what looks like a small tear (1/16" x 1/32") in the lower right corner. Other than that, I see no other rips or tears. There also is no in-painting.
