20-199 Very unusual sheet metal Dove weathervane with directional indicators. From the top of the wood block base to the top of the bird's head is 25.25", from beak to tail measures 12.25". The weathervane is from the Ephrata area of Lancaster Co. PA and dates to ca. 1880. This piece is quite rusted and in as-found condition. It's still a very unusual form.
