21-186 Early Primitive 4-wick table oil lamp. Hand-wrought iron and rivet construction, sitting on 4 curved legs attached to a round ring bases. It stands approximately 16” h. Deaccessioned from the Deerfield CT Museum, it is from Connecticut and dates from ca. 17th century to early-18th century. Condition is very good with a rough surface consistent with age and use. It is a bit of an unusual form.
