23-095. A small ink and watercolor portrait of a young lad. Primitive watercolor and pencil drawing on hand laid paper of a young boy wearing a blue caped outfit with white collar and black bow tie, black waist sash, short wispy light brown hair. On the back it is marked “Edward” followed by an illegible name and dated 1839. The period frame measures 5.25” x 5.25”. Overall very nice condition.
