23-156. Wonderfully naive watercolor drawing of a horse with an intriguingly comical facial expression. Painted in terracotta red, blue, and green on a yellowish paper. As a bonus there is a second drawing on the back of the horse and visible throug a glass on the back of the frame. All in a mahogany frame measuring approximately 10” x 9.5” and dating to the mid-19th century, and found in Southeastern PA.
