This is an absolutely right, exceptional, vintage, wood sign from a general store, Circa1900 (or earlier). It came from the North Coast of California. But, could have been from anywhere in the US. It is wood, made from the panels of a late 19th century door. Made into a hand painted, three tier sign with early paint and chain for a point of sale merchandising sign in the "Fishing" Dept of a country store. Great early patina & paint color! Guaranteed old and real. Fabulous! The three tiers measure.. 38 1/2" X 10", 23 1/2" X 10", and 191/2" X 9 1/2." So, the sign is 38" wide with a 34." drop or height. Wish I had a place for this sign. It is a great piece of Americana. Will be carefully packed for shipping.
