24-025. Very hard to find chip carved “Powwow” doll, for use in the medicinal healing folk culture. A primitively carved walnut figure of a woman with praying hands dressed in a full-length panelized dress. Features include a carved hairline, eyes, mouth, breasts, arms, and hands. It stands approximately 7.25” high. It is from PA and dates to the 18th century.
