23-144. An early two candle Alpine type candle lamp. Made of wrought iron, it consists of an upright piece with a spring-loaded candle keeper and a separate candle socket. This sits on a 5 sided base which is mounted on 3 short rolled feet. The piece measures approximately 8.25”h x 4.5” w. In good as-found condition, German or PA German and dating to the 1700’s.
