24-047. Hand-wrought iron combination Rush / Candle Trammel lamp. This is a very uncommon form with a bar and spring keep adjustable lighting trammel incorporating rush tongs and a tapered candle socket, with a wrapped hook hanger. It measures approximately 21.5” long to 35.5” extended. It was found in Southeastern PA and dates to the mid-18th century. Condition: a very nice form and in excellent original condition with a beautiful patina.
