24-131. An excellent pair of very tall, very hard to find signed, hog scraper candlesticks. Made of hand-wrought sheet iron measuring 14” high. The ejector tabs are marked, somewhat indistinctly, “JAS (?) DAVIS”. A Birmingham iron candlestick manufacturer listed in contemporary trade directories at Court 6, Buck Street. They were found in PA, date to circa 1830 and are in very good working condition.
