24-179. Here is a very nice Make-Do fluid lamp, constructed from a 6 oz can of evaporated milk. It is complete with a wick tub burner, and a filling funnel. The English language paper label advertises “Peak Brand” evaporated milk and is marked “Holland”. It measures approximately 2.25” h x 2.5” diameter. The piece is in very good condition. There are no tears, one rub and only a few spots. Ca. 1900.
