24-221. A small brass, whale oil, bicycle or handheld Traveler's lamp, with a convex glass lens. Containing a small whale oil font behind the hinged lens. A mounting bracket or stand is on the bottom, and a compact folding handle and a belt hook are on the back. A heat dispersing chimney vent can be raised from the top with an attached hanging hook. Measuring approximately 3.25” h and in very good condition. It was found in PA and dates from the early-19th century, ca. 1830.
