24-209. A primitive redware fat lamp, unsigned, with simple potting and uneven glazing. Despite its rustic finish, the lamp is well-made, featuring solid construction and pleasing proportions. Measuring approximately 3.5” in height and 5” in diameter, it came from a Pennsylvania redware collection discovered in Indiana. However, it was most likely crafted in Pennsylvania. Dating to the mid-19th century.
