24-255. A cast iron and sheet ion World War II era candle Lantern with a handle and hinged front glass. A spring-loaded mechanism pushes the candle into the chamber and a small side door provides a convenient wat to light or extinguish the flame. The lamp is marked on the side “T. E. BLADON & SON Ltd, B’HAM 1942”. Indicating the Bermingham England maker and the date of manufacture. Measuring approximately 8” x 4” diameter. It is in very good condition, possibly missing a closure clasp at the top of the hinged glass window.
