Unusual to find an early, entire family of Skookum Dolls. These are vintage Native American Dolls. They are called Skookum dolls and they were first made around 1913 and marketed at trading posts and eventually to the open trade as a tourist item. They are all hand done using early Pendleton blanket material, felt, leather and whatever else worked. They have a composition body. They were character dolls modeled after various Native American tribes an they are very collected. Orerall condition is very good on this family. These is one repair underneath the chin of the man. The husband is 12" H and the woman is 11." Wonderful color and dress. Probably from the 1930s. or earlier.
