25-008. A mahogany dish-top candle stand with an adjustable top, measuring approximately 6” x 5.86” and standing 8.25” high. The wooden threads of the adjustable thumb screw are worn but remain functional. A small nick (0.25”) in the rim of the top is present; otherwise, the stand is in very good condition with a rich patina. Found in New England, it dates to the early to mid-19th century.
