This is a beautiful piece of 19th century sewing objects. Very delicate, the piece is well inscribed in the silver on its five sides. It opens by screwing it to reveal a strong sewing awl. Circa 1870s, this piece works wonderfully and may have been part of a woman's chatelaine. It measures only 3". Lovely.
