1880s Wood Fishing Rod and Reel Great Surface

This is a great two piece fishing item from the late part of the 19th Century. The rod has just the shown part of the whole rod. It was made for the reel and they attach mechanically. The reel is so cool with its fantastic surface and brass work. And, yes it does function. And, the reel can come apart from the rod. And, of course, the look is great. This piece is 31" L and the reel is 7" in diameter.
