25-032. A small rare amethyst color mold formed glass whale oil lamp dating to the early to mid-19th century. Fitted with a single round wick burner. It measures approximately 7.75” h x 3” in diameter. The 19th century date of the slowly developing amethyst color of the glass is confirmed by the presence of manganese, detected by UV light examination.
