25-071. A Round Snuff Box of the Johann Stobwasser papier mâché, lacquerware type. The top the box with the hand painted image of a maiden wearing a blue dress with lacewear shawl and apron and carrying a basket of grapes with vines on her head. The painting is well executed and the colors strong and bright. The image is in very good condition. The box has a bit of damage to the side of the lid, but it does not extend to the top. Otherwise, the Snuff Box is in good to very good condition. It measures approximately 2.75” in diameter x 0.75” high.
