Civil War Era Boys Pair of Leather Boots

These boots are 6” from heel to toe and 11” tall these were boys boots from the Civil war era or possibly earlier 1840ish and are a matched pair with square head tacks in heels and soles. The upper leather of the boots has a original red dye mostly seen on the inside of boots and this leather is thinner and more fragile then the rest of the boots. The pull on straps are there and in good condition. I can not differentiate a left from the right and from what I read the boot makers would use a straight form when making them. Rare pair of survivors.
