25-103. A very unusual and seldom seen form of a looped rod candle holder, made of rolled sheet iron and iron rod with a cleated candle socket and slotted cleanout. In very good condition with a great patina. It measures approximately 9” high x 4” wide. Found in New England and dating from the late-18th to the early-19th century, ca. 1780 – 1820.
