25-048. A tall, signed hand-wrought iron hog scraper candlestick featuring a brass wedding band. It includes a side ejector tab, drip ring, and finger tab, and is marked “HEISE” at the top of the ejector tab.. The candle stem is secured to a graduated double-domed base with a hand-forged iron nut. Made in Southeastern Pennsylvania, this example dates to the late 18th to early 19th century (circa 1790–1830). It measures approximately 11.15" high by 4.25" in diameter.
