19th Century. Vermont or New Hampshire origin. Unique form splint Cake Basket with swing lid. Nice nutty patina on the outside and a as it should be lighter patina inside. Measures 12” across the top by 9” across the bottom by 8” high with lid closed. In excellent condition. Never have seen another like it.
