25-166. Hand-wrought iron tabletop paddle-shaped rush light holder, with the highly unusual double conical shaped candle sockets. All three of these holder’s rest on an iron strap which spans a round ribbon shaped base. The lamp measures approximately 12.5" high. It is in good original condition with age-appropriate wear. There are no breaks or repairs. This very scarce form is American and dates from the early 18th century.
