This is a rabbit, Easter Bunny hinged chocolate mold made by Anton Reiche in Dresden Germany. It is Reiche’s mold number 14716. The mold is also marked for Reiche’s New York distributor T. C. Weygandt. The mold is in good condition with the hinge and the clamps functioning as expected. The rabbit is 9” tall plus a border surrounding the rabbit. The bottom plate measures approximately 2 9/16” x 3 9/16”. The mold is tarnished with age but 90% of the silvering inside the mold is present. This mold is over 50 years old, so the buyer should expect some rust and scratches that have come with age, usage and storage. 195
