Price: $260
Sold by Phillips and Durkin Antiques
25-190. A hand-wrought iron coiled snake, with it’s head resting on it’s tightly coiled body. Originally designed as a whimsical flint striker, but today equally useful as an unusual paper weight. It measures approximately 2.25” in diameter. Found in New England and likely made in that region. The piece dates from the late 18th century, ca. 1780.
