26-020. An unusually small, petite, tole painted tin single candle sconce. Both the rounded top and the rectangular base are crimped. The sides are folded for reinforcement, and a hanging hole is located at the top. It is decorated in a banner Reath like pattern in red, and blue on a black background. The sconce measures approximately 8” high x 2” wide. Attributed to New England and dating to the mid-19th century.
