24-252. A mid-size folding tin candle Lantern with isinglass windows, wire handle, and camouflage surface. When folded it measures approximately 7” x 4.5” x 1.5”. Erected it is approximately 10” x 4.5” x 4.25”. The top of the Lantern is marked “THE STONEBRIDGE FOLDING LANTERN, PAT’D NOV. 20,1906, JUNE 9, 1908. C. H. STONEBRIDGE M’F’G’ CO, N.Y.C. MADE IN U.S.A.” The camouflage surface suggests that it was made for the military during World War I. In very good condition, and working order, no damage beyond expected wear.
