25-163. Carved wooden Heart-Form Maple Sugar Mold with a central design featuring the letters “A R T”. The mold sides are removeable to aid removal of the sugar mold. The whole piece measures approximately 8” long x 4.5” wide x 2” deep. An excellent functional primitive form with a very intriguing central design. In good condition with expected wear. Originally from New England and dating from ca. the mid to late-19th century.
