26-041. A hand-wrought iron combination Rush / Candle lamp. The iron candle socket and drip pan act as a counterweight for the jaws of the rush holder. The stem of the lamp is peened into a tripod base with penny feet. The lamp measures approximately 7” high x 6” wide. It is in very good condition without breaks or repairs, was found in Pennsylvania and dates to the late-18th to early-19th century.
