25-088. Pennsylvania trunnion mounted Kettle Lamp made of hand-wrought iron. An early example featuring a vertical wick support in the kettle and suitable for fat or oil as a fuel, iron stem and a flat circular base with a slight rim. Unusually, it retains its original tweezer type wick pick and chain. Measuring approximately 8.5” high x 6” wide. It was found in Ohio and made either there or Pennsylvania.
