An amazing find from my archives. This is a heavy duty, well made, very secure chest with iron strapping and two strong hasps for two locks. It is like a transport for valuables. A traveling safe. Not sure of the origin, where it was made, but found in California. It has this great old painted surface with a Union Jack over older paints. It's definitely a talking piece. And, the condition of the metal is as you want it. Guessing its age to be mid to late 19th C. The chest measures 27"L X 16" deep X 12"H. Weighs about 20 Lbs. I can package this item properly and ship it.
