This Form Is Usually Called a Chink Light So Its Tail Can Be Inserted Into a Chink Or Crack In the Wood Of a Doorway, Mantle or Other Piece Of Molding or an Opening Between Bricks or Stonework. This Piece Has a Nice Longer Tail and Dark Patina. There Is a Bit Of Early Tallow Candle Inside the Socket That I Did Not Want To Dig Out, Measures 4 3/4 Long and the Socket Is 1 1/2" High.
