26-087. A small, hinged lidded tinder box, with a push button closure. It is inscribed with a waterfowl on one side and a small water plant on the other side of the polished steel case. The box measures approximately 2 inches long x 1 ½ inches wide. A flint and tinder are included. A beautifully made and inscribe pocket piece, American and dating to the first half of the 19th century.
