Such a nice table box with lots of character and original Red painted surface. The table box has some lovely features, the interior is divided and the box has a bottom drawer. Nice dry original Red paint completes the look for this lift top, divided table box with drawer. The painted surface show to be more Red in person, for some reason the photos are washed out. The photo with the apple shows the best color. There appears to have been snipe hinges on the box at one time. These have been replaced thru the years. This construction puts the age of the box to the early part of the 19th. century. The box measures 15 1/4 x 8 x 8 inches. Excellent condition.
