This is just a great piece, a wonderful cricket stool, foot stool. The form, size and painted surface are the best. The top of the bench is an extremely thick slab of wood, the legs are very substantial, round and thick, the paint is a wonderful Olive Green paint. All of these features make this foot stool an outstanding example of a 19th. century, American painted foot stool. The foot stool measures 16 1/4 x 8 1/4 x x 8 inches. the condition is excellent. Most of the paint is worn off the the top of the foot stool from wear. Circa 19th. century.
