This cherry slide lid box is dovetailed. The divided interior has five compartments of various sizes. Give it size and the interior design, it is likely to have been a pantry or spice box. It is 7 1/4" high x 16 3/8" wide x 10 3/8" deep. The lid is chamfered and readily slides in and out. The box appears to be in good condition with no immediately visible damage or repairs.
