You don’t see these too often. This staved bucket is called a peck–1/2 peck. One side has a greater capacity than the other. A farm utilitarian item used for measuring just about anything from apples, grain etc. The painted surface on this bucket is wonderful, dry Mustard. The peck– 1/2 peck measures 11 1/4″ tall, 7 1/2″ diameter on the bottom and 9″ diameter on the top. The condition is excellent. A very nice American bucket, circa mid to late 19th. century.
