An excellent table box with the best original paint decorated surface. When I bought this box the lid was not attached and there was a piece broken off the back of the lid. I had the lid repaired and new hinges put on the box. I am not happy that the screws that were used but that can be easily be replaced. The paint decoration on the box is just wonderful, nice and dry. It appears there may have been a handle on the top of the box. All in all it still is quite a nice survivor from the late 19th. Century. The box measures13 1/4 x 10 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches. I feel the paint decoration surly makes up for the few flaws that are part of this box. Please note the repair on the left back top of the box.
