This form of candle dryer is a little more difficult to find. The porcupine style has thin or thicker spines coming out of a backboard of wood. I love the form. This particular style has thicker spines than other examples. The candles are hung for drying or storage as required. The candle dryer measures 14 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches. American candle dryer, circa 1840-1860. The condition is excellent.
