This is an exceptional and unusual example of an American spiral shaft table light. The piece is just outstanding. The sweetest thing about this light is that it measures only 8 3/4 inches tall with a crossbar that measures 5 1/4 x 1 1/4 inches and the diameter of the base measures 4 inches. The surface is original. Spiral shaft that raises and lowers the candle bar. The candle bar holds two candles. there is some charring on the cross bar from use. Just a sweet darling piece and the size is perfection. Most likely American. The condition is excellent.
