This is an amazing chandelier. Its presence is striking in size, original paint, finely shaped 6 wired candle holders. The center shaft of this piece is remarkable. It has its original painted surface that still retains a good portion of its original gilt paint. The construction of the center shaft indicates good early construction. Overall the chandelier is in excellent condition. 6 candle holders with drip trays. The chandelier measures about 29 3/4 inches wide, from arm to arm. The gilt painted center post measures 11 inches, the iron connector measures 4 inches and the hook 6 inches. American chandelier from the early part of the 19th. century.
