26-092. Wrought iron hanging candle chandelier with a carved wooden shaft which supports two arms each having a single candle socket, each socket with a rectangular-form drip catcher. The base of the wooden shaft is fitted with a wrought-iron post for alternatively mounting to a peg. The shaft's top fitted with a wire hook. Measuring approximately 17 ¾” high x 9 ¾” wide. Overall, very good condition with expected denting to the drip catchers and wood with expected imperfections. Found in Virginia and dating from the early to mid-19th century.
