Such a nice paint decorated document box. The paint on this box is wonderful, a dark brown painted background with red painted splot designs. Dovetailed construction and the box still has the original hasp and lock. The box is in excellent condition and measures 13 1/2 x 6 x 6 1/4 inches. A nice American table box with the best painted surface.
