This is a 19th century painted document box that is signed Calvin Eaton on the front. It is square nail constructed with the original brass hinges, lock and handle with a mother of pearl inlay shield on the front. The paint is gold and black with red and green pinstriping with a hitchcock design painted on the back. Found in Connecticut Measures: 8′ x 15″ by 5 3/4″ tall. Price: $495.00
