An extremely nice American firkin. Original Green painted surface and in excellent condition. The firkin is secured with tacks not staples. The staves are nice and tight and the wrapped bands do have a bit of slide to them, but not bad at all. The firkin measures 11 1/4 inches tall, 10 1/2 inches diameter at the top and 11 1/4 inches diameter at the bottom. Very nice condition. 19th. century American firkin.
