This is a beautiful, 19th. century slide lid table box. The paint is original to the box, to the period. The bulbous shaped tulips are done in the Bucher style, this is not a Bucher box but one done in the style of Bucher from the mid 19th. century. The paint is vibrant on the front, the sides show some wear and the top slide lid exhibits a lot of wear. Constructed with smaller square nails. The box is quite wonderful. The paint is dry and the flowers are so well executed. The slide lid box measures 13 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 7 3/4 inches. A lovely painted table box. Price: $995.00 + shipping
